Sara Policicchio was selected for Senior Spotlight this past week by Laura Richardson. Sara works with Mrs. Richardson in her class for most of the day, and she says that “Sara has jumped right into being a mentor in my room.” Sara has built a relationship with many of the students and enjoys her time in the classroom so much. She said that’s her “favorite part of the day.” She also spends some of her day interning with Mrs. Mummert at Fairview where she teaches kids music.
Sara has been involved in band for 9 years and is now the drum major at the high school. She is also involved in Chamber Choir and the All School Production. Outside of school, she is a performer in a community theater, the director of the chime choir at her church, and is a member of Girl Scouts. She is very involved in the arts within her community and school. Also outside of school, she loves being with her friends and family and hanging out with her dogs. When she graduates high school, she plans to go to school for special education at either Shippensburg or Millersville. Congratulations Sara!!!
