As a reminder, yearbooks are now on sale at the lowest price available. Visit the JOSTEN’S Website to order (make sure to pick Waynesboro Area Senior High School, not WAMS, and not Waynesboro, VA!). Parents of seniors are reminded that senior tributes, including photo submissions and payment, are due no later than Tuesday, December 3, which is a firm deadline. WASHS Student Lighthouse Team is sponsoring a Winter Semi-Formal Dance on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 7-10:00 pm in the WASHS Cafeteria. Inclement weather date is Saturday, January 25, 2025. Like other WASHS dances, enrolled students must meet the Dance Expectations in order to attend. Outside guests from other high schools and graduates under age 21 must follow an approval process in order to attend.

Calendar Reminders:
For WASHS Students

  • Tuesday, November 26 - early dismissal at 11:50 am (breakfast & lunch will be served) See SLIDE 3 for the bell schedule (NOTE - Order of blocks will be 1, 2, 4, to keep lunches around the usual time)

  • Schools will be closed for Thanksgiving break beginning Wednesday, November 27 through Monday, December 2. 

  • Schools will reopen on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.

For Fall Career Tech students:

  • Tuesday, November 26 - students will depart CT early for

    WASHS

    dismissal at 11:50 am 

  • Wednesday, November 27 - work-based learning day

  • Thursday, November 28 - Monday, December 2 - No School for CT

For NJROTC Students:

  • You will attend

    NJROTC

    on Tuesday, November 26. 

  • Chambersburg is closed on Tuesday, December 3 so you will report to study hall during block 1.
