First, I want to thank our learners, staff, and student council for making our homecoming spirit week and last week’s pep rally a huge success! We are very excited for our annual homecoming this weekend! Additionally, we are excited to announce that this month’s newsletter includes the debut of content written by students in the
WASHS
Journalism class.
Lastly, we would like to invite you to our financial aid information night on Monday, September 30 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm in the high school auditorium. A representative from the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency will be here to present you with information about how to pay for your student’s higher education including important facts, tips to know, how to create an FSA ID, how to apply for the FAFSA, and more. There will also be time to ask any questions you may currently have. This is specifically intended for juniors and seniors and their families, but is open to any student grades 9-12. We hope to see you there!
