Waynesboro Area Senior High School

Mrs. Dickey's Broadcast Journalism class visited their Kindergarten Pen Pals from Mowery during the last week of school. Mrs. Abby Fisher's kindergarten class corresponded with the Tribe Time students from January to May as a way of learning how to write letters. Both groups of students enjoyed writing and receiving letters from one another. Meeting in person was a special gift! The students created a hermit crab craft, played games, and spent time together at recess with their pen pals. Both teachers are hoping to continue the Pen Pal Project next year.
