CALENDAR REMINDERS:
Third marking period ends on Tuesday, March 26. Report cards will be posted on the Sapphire Community Web Portal on Friday, April 5.
Waynesboro Schools will be closed Thursday, March 28 through Tuesday, April 3 for spring break. Schools will reopen on Thursday, April 4.
WASHS Office will be open on Thursday, March
28th, Tuesday, April 2, and Wednesday, April 3.
CareerTech schedule during spring break:
Thursday, March 28-Homebased CTE
Friday, March 29 & Monday, April 1 - Closed for spring break
Tuesday, April 2 & Wednesday, April 3 - School in Session; transportation to CareerTech available from WASHS
There will be an early dismissal for WASD schools on Monday, April 8. Secondary dismissal time is 11:50 am. Lunches will be served; CT will dismiss early to return back for WASHS dismissal.
WASD and The Institute are co-sponsoring a solar eclipse viewing event that on Monday, April 8 from 2-4:00 pm. Please review the information in the newsletter, linked below, to learn more and to register to attend.

Prom Information and Guest Forms
Leader in Me Update, including information about the Measuring Results Assessment (MRA) students will complete on April 8. This anonymous assessment will provide feedback that our Leader in Me team will use to plan improvements for our school.
There are links in the newsletter to review the MRA and to opt your child out of participation if you choose.
We are also asking families to complete this assessment. Click HERE to access the Parent/Guardian MRA, which will take about 25 minutes to complete.

We have been receiving some phone calls from business owners at the Martin’s shopping center regarding student behavior after school. Please remember that WASHS students are not permitted to park in that lot during the school day. If your child visits one of the restaurants or stores after school instead of going directly home, please remind your child to act in a respectful, appropriate manner.
Attention Class of 2025 - Deadline to sign up for the Central PA College Fair at Penn State Mont Alto is Thursday, April 4. You can sign up in the counseling office.
Finally, we are currently looking for new members of our staff for the 2024-25 school year. Current openings for full-time, contracted positions are Biology, French, and Mathematics. Click HERE to visit the HR website to learn more.
