Hello Summitview families,
We will be having modified fall parties for our in-person learners on Friday, October 30. Learners will get to watch the movie, Monsters, Inc.(rated G), have a snack, and make a craft. WASD COVID-19 safety protocols prevent us from allowing volunteers into the building to facilitate fall parties. We are therefore seeking donations of snacks, drinks, and materials for crafts.
If you are able to assist with these donations, please click HERE to access the Sign Up Genius page for this event. There you will see a list of snack/drink items, as well as craft supplies. Most items have several slots. Please keep the following in mind when signing up:
- We are asking for water ONLY; no drink or juice boxes. Small, 8 oz. bottles are being requested to eliminate waste.
- Salty snacks must be PLAIN (e.g., Lay's potato chips, plain pretzels).
- Sweet snacks CANNOT contain peanuts or tree nuts.
- Donations are for the school, not individual classrooms (we won't be able to ensure the snack you send in goes to your child's homeroom).
- Extra supplies will be kept at school for teacher use in the future.
Fall parties will be held on Friday, October 30. To ensure we have all needed supplies, drop off for those who sign up will be Monday, October 26 from 8:00-11:00 am. Please contact Mrs. Ebersole via email (pam_ebersole@wasdpa.org) if you would like to make a donation but that time doesn't work with your schedule.
