The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Basic Education Funding Commission approved a report today stating that to meet education adequacy gaps, the Commonwealth would need to invest an additional $5.1 billion in public school education. Of that amount, the commission noted that the Waynesboro Area School District would need an incremental $23.9 million over a 7-year time frame for adequacy and equity.
