The 7th grade Quiz Bowl team from WAMS recently won the National Thinking Cap Quiz Bowl, besting teams from across the United States. The 2nd place team hailed from Indiana, while the third place team was from Texas.
The quiz bowl consists of 100 questions from across all areas of academic knowledge and current events and rewards the students for not only answering correctly, but for speed. Each question offers the possibility of 15 points with our team earning the top score of 1209.
