According to the Section 1073.1 of the Pennsylvania School Code, superintendents must be evaluated via an annual performance review using objective performance standards. 

On September 26, 2023, the WASD Board completed a Superintendent Performance Evaluation for Dr. Sterner-Hine for the 2022-2023 school year. The superintendent has met all goals and was rated Distinguished.
